FAQ for the Consultation and Treatment Process
What happens if I cannot make my appointment?
Life can be unpredictable.
We understand this and at times you have to cancel and reschedule appointments.
We respectfully ask for notification of this as soon as you know you cannot make your appointment as we can offer this slot to our waiting list patients.
What happens if I am late?
If you are running late, we respectfully ask for notification as soon as you know this may be happening.
If you arrive fifteen minutes or more later than your appointment time, you may not be seen, as time restraints may not permit this. If you are seen, your appointment may be shorter.
This is out of courtesy to patients following on after your appointment and Dr Rory can see up to thirty patients a day.
How quickly can I book surgery?
This is very much dependent on availability of Dr Hasanov and your personal schedule.
It is always advisable to think ahead and plan your surgery and recovery after a period of reflection following consultation. Never rush into doing surgery before fully considering all the information available.
What can’t I do after surgery?
This is obviously very dependent on what surgery you have had performed and so please refer to the appropriate section of the website and also discuss with Dr Hasanov at your consultation.
How do I know if there is a problem?
This is highly variable and dependent on your surgery. Dr Hasanov would have outlined them to you and your specific case.
However, if there is increasing pain, swelling, redness, discharge, bleeding, a high temperature and the feeling of increasingly being unwell may alert you to a problem.
In any case, you should alert the team if you have any concerns.
